Yolanda Cuba (CA) SA is the Group Regional Vice President looking after Southern and East Africa at MTN where she oversees 6 countries for the largest mobile network operator in Africa (ranked 7th in the world). Yolanda is a strategy and vision driven leader that was amongst the first to recognise and centralize of technology in business strategy. She has been instrumental in moving MTN from a mainly telecoms focused business to a connectivity and platform business as well as introducing the Ayoba Super-App. Yolanda is a Chartered Accountant and holds, a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Pretoria amongst other qualifications and certifications. Carrie Yury is the Managing Director responsible for User Experience, Digital Products and Channels at a large, multinational, American financial services company. Prior to her current role, Carrie spent several years as part of the leadership teams of Accenture's UX design, digital product and innovation companies Accenture Interactive's Fjord and Accenture Song. Carrie boasts extensive experience leading and working within Executive teams both in corporate environments and as an entrepreneur. She is passionate about leveraging UX tools and methods to centre the user where user interaction meets design and technology.
